Gifted and Talented - The GT window for spring applications and referrals will be open February 27th through March 9th. Forms are available in the Celina Intermediate office.

Road to Success Reading Program
The Six Flags Read to Succeed program has started.

Every student who completes at least 6 hours of recreational reading by February 24th will earn a free admission ticket to Six Flags. Students will need to turn in their reading logs to our librarian, Mrs. Morgan.

Morning Drop Off Time
Please do not drop off your child at Celina Intermediate School prior to 7:35 a.m. There is no supervision available before that time on the grounds or in the building.

2011-2012 Celina Intermediate Yearbooks
Attention Parents – If you enjoy taking pictures of your child at school events and would like for these pictures to appear in the CIS yearbook, please send them to our yearbook editor, Brittni Rumage. Pictures can be emailed throughout the year to celinaptayearbook2011@yahoo.com, or they can be placed on a CD. Please be sure to note in the email or on the CD “Intermediate School” and the event from which the pictures were taken (example – Intermediate/School Pep Rally). CD’s can be brought to the CIS office.

Celina Intermediate School Hours
School classroom hours are 8:00 a.m. - 3:10 p.m.

Doors open at 7:35 a.m. Students may be dropped off at either the front of the school (east entrance), or by the gym (north entrance). During afternoon dismissal, if picking your child up in the carpool line, 3rd grade students will be dismissed at the front of the school, and 4th and 5th grade students will be dismissed at the gym entrance.

Students may purchase breakfast from 7:35 - 7:55 a.m.

Students are expected to be in their classrooms, ready to work, by 8:00 a.m. Students who arrive at 8:05 a.m. or after are counted tardy.

Please make sure your child is aware of how he/she is going home each day. Should there be a change in the way your child normally goes home, please send a note to your child's homeroom teacher with the change of information.
